Covent Garden -
As a group we had decided that on the way home we would take a trip to Covent Garden as we hadn't got as much footage as we had wanted. We also found that when we got there that there was a lot of filming opportunities and we found that we had got a lot footage from the area. It was a very aesthetically pleasing area and we thought would appeal to our target audience as it also worked with rest of our video and locations. Whilst we were there we had sat down for a drink at a restaurant and filmed a scene there and also filmed a scene in the street where there were bench swings with flowers covering the sides and roof of the bench.
Oxford Street -
We also filmed in Oxford street for a last minute journey, the shots that we took there were in the dark. We thought that since we were in London and it is a well-known area this may appeal to our target audience as they may know the area of where it is being filmed as well as our other locations. There was also a lot of lights and it gave us some more footage from our London trip even if we didn't use the filming it was something else we could potentially put in our video.
The ending of our Narrative -
For the end of our narrative, we have linked the storyline more to the lyrics of the three friends that have been consistently together in different locations throughout the music video. We have changed the ending to: all three friends end up hugging and then pulling away and going separate ways while dragging there suitcases along, showing that they are leaving. As a group we decided this would be a good idea to use as one of our last scenes as the lyrics to the song is about someone leaving so this would give the impression that they are saying goodbye. After placing all of our other filming into Final Cut except a few clips we have left enough space at the end of our video for our ending.
Rochester -
We chose Rochester as another location as it is nearby as it is very close similar to Dockside, which is convenient for us as a group. Its a quite historical place and has quite a few different places that appeal to the eye and we can film at.
